Terms and Conditions

Wedding Chateau will only supply goods to the Purchaser on the following terms and conditions set out below, unless Wedding Chateau agrees, in writing, to vary these Terms and Conditions:

Purchaser means any party contracting for the supply of products by Wedding Chateau.

Website means www.weddingchateau.com.au

Minimum Order Quantity
Purchases from Wedding Chateau must be for the minimum order quantity ("MOQ") specified for the product displayed on the Website, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Wedding Chateau. Wedding Chateau retains the right to vary MOQ requirements and prices of products displayed on the Website for quantities that are below the MOQ in its absolute discretion.

Electronic mock ups
Please understand that in no circumstances will Wedding Chateau make a physical personalised sample invitation for the Purchaser's approval as the costs involved to do this are too prohibitive. If the Purchaser is purchasing hard cover wedding invitations from Wedding Chateau, electronic mock ups of the Purchaser's hard cover invitation design will be forwarded to the Purchaser via email for the Purchaser to review approximately 1 week after the Purchaser's 50% deposit on the total order cost has been received by Wedding Chateau and the Purchaser's completed invitation wording template has been returned to Wedding Chateau, whicever is the later. Three alterations to the wording and layout of the electronic mock ups can be requested by the Purchaser before an alteration surcharge per alteration is applied. Accordingly, the Purchaser should ensure that the required invitation design concepts and invitation wording submited to Wedding Chateau are as final as possible. Once the Purchaser approves the electronic mock ups, no further alterations can be made to the invitation design, wording or quantity and the invitations will be made as per the approved electronic mock ups. Full payment is required once the Purchaser approves the electronic mock ups and prior to Wedding Chateau physically making the invitations. Under no circumstances will Wedding Chateau begin to physically make the invitations prior to full payment of the order being received.

DIY
Wedding Chateau takes no responsibility if the products are used in an inappropriate way and will not be liable to damage to finished products.

Damaged or lost goods
Wedding Chateau carefully checks all goods prior to dispatch. Wedding Chateau does not accept any responsibility for damages to the invites or loss of invites arising from third party courier transit. The Purchaser must advise Wedding Chateau if they wish to purchase insurance from Australia Post regarding any postage of the purchased goods to the Purchaser, prior to placing an order with Wedding Chateau.

Errors
Any errors/damages in respect of orders which are solely caused by Wedding Chateau will be re-made free of charge, which is what Wedding Chateau's total liability to the Purchaser is limited to and no refunds will be provided by Wedding Chateau. The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that Wedding Chateau requires approximately 3 months to re-make any order. Accordingly, it is the Purchaser's responsibility to ensure that when placing an order with Wedding Chateau, the order is confirmed and Wedding Chateau proceed to production of the order as soon as possible and plenty of time has been allowed for the order to be re-made, if necessary. Unfortunately, errors which have been made based on the invitation wording submitted by the Purchaser or have been approved in the electronic mock ups by the Purchaser are not the responsibility of Wedding Chateau and the order will only be re-made at the Purchaser's own cost. It is the Purchaser's sole responsibility to check the electronic mock ups for typos, spacing issues, font size issues, colour issues and any other errors prior to providing approval for Wedding Chateau to physically make the invitations.

Colours/Finish
On-screen computer monitor colours may differ slightly from the physical printed colours and Wedding Chateau takes no responsibility in this regard. Accordingly, Wedding Chateau recommends that the Purchaser purchase a physical sample of an invitation in the exact same colours that they want prior to confirming an order. If samples of an invitation in the specific colours the Purchaser wants are not available for purchase, the Purchaser orders the invitations from Wedding Chateau at his/her own risk knowing that the colours and paper texture may be different to what he/she expects.

Prices
Wedding Chateau reserves the right to alter prices without notification. All prices include 10% Goods and Services Tax.

Delivery
Prices quoted on the Website do not include delivery charges within Australia, unless otherwise specified on the Website. Delivery charges will be calculated at check out.
Wedding Chateau will deliver all products via Australia Post eParcel. Each eParcel is registered and has to be signed for at delivery. This allows for additional security. Please allow ample time for delivery. Urgent or special deliveries can be accommodated at an extra cost. Wedding Chateau will not accept responsibility for any part delivery or delay in delivery of the goods as a result of events occurring beyond the control of Wedding Chateau. Wedding Chateau will not be responsible for any consequences (direct or indirect) arising from such delay or non-delivery. We recommend that you place an order with us at least 3 or more months before you require your wedding invitations.

Address for Delivery
Goods will be delivered to the Purchaser's nominated address. Any changes to the Purchaser's delivery address must be made in writing to Wedding Chateau and confirmed in writing by Wedding Chateau. These changes to the delivery address of the Purchaser will supersede the details in the original website checkout page. The Purchaser agrees that Wedding Chateau is not responsible for any losses occasioned by the Purchaser's failure to collect or take delivery of goods sent to the Purchaser's nominated delivery address.

Refunds
No refunds will be given after the commencement of the order. The order will be considered final.

Limitation of liability
Wedding Chateau's total liability to the Purchaser is limited to a full replacement of the Purchaser's order only.

Copyright
All copyright is wholly owned and reserved by Wedding Chateau. No part of a Wedding Chateau design may be reproduced in whole or part under any circumstance, including the personalised initial monograms, without the written consent of Wedding Chateau. Personalised initial monograms can only be reproduced on wedding cakes, menus, booklet covers etc by the Purchaser once the Purchaser has purchased the copyright to the personalised initial monogram from Wedding Chateau. The purchase price for this copyright is in addition to the invitation order cost.

General
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice. These Terms and Conditions and any contract made between Wedding Chateau and the Purchaser hereunder shall be governed by and constructed in accordance within the laws of the State of New South Wales.

Security of the site
Every endeavour is made to ensure that this site is secure. However, users must be aware that the World Wide Web is an insecure public network and that third party interference can occur. Customers' Credit Card details are protected by a VeriSign® Secure Site SSL Certificates protecting the transfer of sensitive data on Web sites, intranets, and extranets.

Users are encouraged to take appropriate precautions to ensure that whatever is selected from this site is free of contamination that may interfere with or damage the user's computer hardware or software.
